Our History
This hospital was started as a military hospital in the 18 century. from these humble beginnings it was expanded into a district hospital for rendering acute health care for thr local population. FortBeaufort it is situated 25kilometres from Alice on the way to Adelaide. It serves the community of FortBeaufort (White, Coloured, Black and Moslem) with a population of 72000. The hospital consists of 70 beds with the following departments:
